Strawberry Buttercream Icing


Ingredients: 

4 cups icing sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 tsp strawberry essence                 
4 tbs milk            
lemon juice as desired                
food colouring (if required)


Method: 

1. Cream the butter in a bowl using a whisk till it becomes smooth and fluffy. 
2. Add lemon juice and mix well.          
3. Add the sugar as you blend on a low speed till it dissolves.        
4. Add the milk and beat well.
5. Beat the icing till it is light and fluffy.
